Alsace Coast

Alsace Coast

"Full Frame" on Alsace, a region to which I have always been deeply attached.
Fort of my feelings, I had to get lost in the maze of alleys and wine villages so it is even more to my eyes.
What I feel is hard to describe, very personal and goes back to my early days... These few lines reveal some inner impressions.
Marked by a strong cultural identity, it is decorated like so many facets of dreams: his soul of medieval mysteries, legends and medieval remains, his stories of another time, the streets of its villages lined with typical houses, its picturesque streets here revealing an old wine press, here a Gothic fountain or a remarkable Roman bell tower.
But also the architecture of its villages, in the heart of the vineyards, protected by walls, where it is so nice to be carried away by his imagination. And yet its contrasts of autumn colors, ephemeral and unlikely, sometimes so dense and rolling forests  which, in turn of a corner, raise imposing castle ruins as many keepers of unique romantic stories! Whenever I contemplate them, they speak to me of an adventure always new!
Its white winters with frost and ice, at night, put on a sparkling blue coat, its lights, soft and strong at once, drawing the shapes of hills and villages as lithography from Hansi. I am and always will be fascinated.
I will leave again on its roads and paths to capture in my photographs the timeless and fascinating beauty.
